This person understands not only how to create beautiful floral work, but how to produce it efficiently, organize it clearly, transport it safely, install it professionally, and troubleshoot it calmly under real event deadlines.</p><p>We are looking for someone who can immediately contribute at a high level: designing, leading, improving processes, supporting team standards, and ensuring that every floral piece, ceremony design, centerpiece, personal flower, and installation leaves the studio event-ready and fully aligned with our design expectations.</p><h2>About the Role</h2><p>The Senior Wedding Floral Designer &amp; Installation Lead is responsible for producing high-quality wedding and event florals, supporting production flow, leading installations, and helping maintain design consistency across multiple venues.</p><p>This role requires someone who is confident creating polished, professional floral work at scale. You should be comfortable designing from recipes, inspiration images, approved client notes, and established company standards while also knowing when to flag concerns, adjust mechanics, improve efficiency, and solve production challenges before they become event-day issues.</p><p>This is not an entry-level florist position. This is a senior production and installation role for someone with strong wedding floral experience.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><h3>Senior Floral Design &amp; Production</h3><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li>Design and execute high-quality wedding and event florals, including:<ul data-spread=\"false\"><li>Bridal bouquets</li><li>Bridesmaid bouquets</li><li>Centerpieces</li><li>Ceremony florals</li><li>Corsages and boutonnieres</li><li>Floral accent pieces</li><li>Large-scale floral installations</li><li>Arch, arbor, urn, aisle, and statement floral designs</li></ul></li><li>Produce floral designs efficiently while maintaining strong standards for mechanics, proportion, color balance, shape, texture, freshness, and overall presentation.</li><li>Execute approved floral recipes, design notes, mood boards, timelines, and production schedules with accuracy and consistency.</li><li>Create full-scale wedding and event designs at a high level with minimal supervision.</li><li>Identify design, product, mechanics, or quality concerns and communicate solutions quickly.</li><li>Support floral substitutions when needed while preserving the approved design style, color palette, and client expectations.</li><li>Maintain strong standards for hydration, conditioning, flower care, and product longevity.</li><li>Help ensure that all completed designs are polished, accurate, labeled, packed correctly, and ready for transport or installation.</li></ul><h3>Installation Leadership &amp; Event Execution</h3><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li>Lead and support floral and event design installations across Wedgewood Weddings venues.</li><li>Install arches, ceremony pieces, centerpieces, candles, equipment, floral accents, and d&eacute;cor according to approved design plans.</li><li>Ensure all event designs are placed accurately, securely, cleanly, and in alignment with venue and company standards.</li><li>Troubleshoot on-site design, setup, mechanics, timing, or product issues calmly and professionally.</li><li>Direct or support team members during event setup to ensure efficient and accurate execution.</li><li>Maintain a professional, guest-aware presence while working on-site.</li><li>Communicate clearly with the studio team, venue team, and leadership regarding event progress, concerns, changes, and completion.</li><li>Confirm that event spaces are left clean, polished, photo-ready, and fully aligned with the client&rsquo;s approved design.</li><li>Drive to and from venues in company vehicles on event days.</li><li>Load &amp; Unload Equipment &amp; Florals ensuring safe transportation</li></ul><h3>Production Standards, Organization &amp; Team Support</h3><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li>Help improve production flow, organization, cleanliness, labeling, packing, and setup standards.</li><li>Support training, coaching, and quality feedback for junior designers, freelancers, and production support team members.</li><li>Help cultivate a culture of accuracy, speed, cleanliness, accountability, and pride in the finished product.</li><li>Pull, organize, label, and prepare flowers, vessels, candles, hard goods, tools, and supplies for upcoming events.</li><li>Assist with receiving, processing, and organizing incoming floral product as needed.</li><li>Maintain organized floral coolers, prep areas, design stations, tools, inventory, and shared workspaces.</li><li>Assist with inventory tracking, supply restocking, and hard-good organization.</li><li>Help identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements that support better event execution.</li></ul><h2>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</h2><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li>Preferred: 7-10+ years of professional floral design experience.</li><li>Minimum: 5+ years of strong wedding, event, or large-scale floral production experience.</li><li>Strong wedding and event installation experience required.</li><li>Experience leading or directing event setups, installations, or production teams strongly preferred.</li><li>Advanced floral mechanics, including arches, urns, large-scale designs, personal flowers, and transport-safe construction.</li><li>Strong eye for color, balance, proportion, texture, movement, and overall floral composition.</li><li>Ability to design quickly and consistently in a high-volume wedding production environment.</li><li>Ability to follow recipes and standards while also bringing senior-level judgment and problem-solving.</li><li>Strong organization, communication, cleanliness, and time-management skills.</li><li>Calm, solutions-oriented mindset under deadlines and event-day pressure.</li><li>Ability to work independently while also supporting a fast-paced team environment.</li><li>Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30&ndash;40 lbs.</li><li>Reliable transportation and ability to work across multiple Atlanta-area venues.</li><li>Availability Tuesday&ndash;Saturday or Wednesday&ndash;Sunday, with a strong emphasis on weekends.
