We are the only locating provider in BC with Registered Utility Locator Technicians (RULT) and we take pride in our commitment to innovation and excellence.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Our technicians locate underground utilities on-site using geophysical equipment such as Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), interpret and mark results, collecting data to draft detailed reports such as Subsurface Utilities Engineering (SUE).</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The ideal candidate will have an industry-related qualification and utility locating experience. Knowledge of GPR systems is an asset.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul></ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Visiting various work sites (will be required to work in all weather conditions), as well as work in the office</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Reading and interpreting site plans, construction print data and maps, to assist in location of subsurface utility facilities</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Locating and marking subsurface utilities with a range of geophysical tools</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Providing digital drawings and detailed reports to clients, as well as communicating important subsurface utility findings with clients.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Following all health and safety protocols</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">What We’re Looking For</span><br></span></p>\n<ul></ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Valid class 5 BC driver's license and can provide a driving abstract as required for use of company vehicle</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Minimum 3 years of Utility Locating experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience interpreting or reading location maps, sketches, prints</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong computer skills, expertise in CAD software and GPS is considered an asset</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience with Electromagnetic (EM) survey equipment, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">During the interview process, we will be looking for:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">How you demonstrate our shared value set of excellence (pushing yourself to be the very best), innovation (your ability to try new things and be okay with failing), community (how you give to your community, either micro or macro) and honesty (how you own your mistakes, even if it might mean you don’t always look as good as you hoped!)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Exceptional interpersonal skills: your ability to communicate to all levels of an organization with a positive, proactive attitude.
