And as we continue to grow and fulfill our mission of “saving hospitals, saving jobs and saving lives,” we remain committed to delivering exceptional care, and creating a legacy that will improve healthcare.</p>\n<p>Prime Healthcare and the not-for-profit Prime Healthcare Foundation serve more than 600 communities across 14 states with more than 57,000 staff and affiliated physicians in Alabama, California, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Texas.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>If you wish to contribute to the Prime Healthcare legacy within a Chief Financial Officer capacity for a hospital within our family of acute care hospitals <em>(or future hospitals)</em>, then join our executive leadership network to begin exploring immediate and future opportunities. </strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>As a Chief Financial Officer leading one of our facilities, you'll be responsible for: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Carrying out all policies and procedures established by the Governing Board consisted with the philosophy and practices of the Hospital.</li>\n <li>Presenting to the Governing Board or to its authorized committees periodic reports reflecting the financial activities of the hospital.</li>\n <li>Responsibility for planning, organizing and influencing department activities and assuring financial records of the hospital are maintained following generally accepted accounting standards.</li>\n <li>Preparing an annual operating capital expenditure and cash flow budget showing the expected receipts and expenditures and such other information as required by the organization and submission of such budgets for approval.</li>\n <li>Supervising financial affairs to ensure that funds are collected and expended to the best possible advantage and within the provision of the annual budgets.</li>\n <li>Setting realistic goals and meets those goals through set criteria that measures effective outcomes, focus and drive.</li>\n <li>Demonstrating flexibility; being willing to make changes in the work schedule and work assignments to meet changing demands/priorities.</li>\n <li>Employing analytical abilities, pragmatism, and other tools to resolve complex problems in a variety of contexts.</li>\n <li>Identifying problems and possible solutions; contributing to organizational performance improvement.</li>\n <li>Maintaining ability to connect processes, events, and systems, demonstrating a balance between process orientation and big-picture thinking.</li>\n <li>Identifying with, and sharing in the organization’s commitment to mission, philosophy and goals.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-CC1</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>In order to be considered for a Chief Financial Officer position within our facilities, you'll possess the following qualifications:</p>\n<li>Bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance or closely related field.</li>\n<li>Extensive knowledge of Health Care Accounting practices and principles.</li>\n<li>Progressively responsible position in the Accounting profession.</li>\n<li>Five to seven years experience in hospital accounting/finance required; two years in management preferred.</li>\n<li>Management of hospital financial issues related to budgeting, cash management, capital finance, and performance evaluations.</li>\n<li>Proficiency with end-to-end hospital revenue cycle operations. </li>\n<li>In depth knowledge of insurance matters, regulations, reimbursement, information systems and plant operations.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with computer accounting programs.</li>\n<li>CPA preferred.</li>\n<li>Membership and active participation in ACHE and/or other professional organization preferred.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Pay Transparency</h2>\n<p>Prime Healthcare Management Inc. offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $250,000.00 to $280,000.00 on an annualized basis.
