Description
Plan, develop, and implement activities associated with an annual fund campaign, major gifts and gift planning, increase endowed funds, capital campaigns, constituent relations, and all other activities within the mission of the Greenville Tech Foundation and Greenville Technical College. Oversee all holdings of the Greenville Tech Foundation. Direct and manage the staff of the Greenville Tech Foundation. Job Functions Strategic Fundraising Leadership and Campaign Management (30%):Direct and lead major capital campaigns aligned with academic and facility master plans, ensuring strong fundraising strategies for capital needs, endowments, and annual giving initiatives.Implement sophisticated, data-informed development practices across all phases of donor engagement including, but not limited to, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and planned giving to grow sustainable philanthropic support. Advancement, Marketing, and Public Relations (20%):Establish and maintain modern, high-impact fundraising, marketing, and public relations programs, ensuring practices align with the latest standards and innovations in the nonprofit and higher-education advancement sectors.Enhance the institution’s local and national visibility and reputation through coordinated external communication strategies and proactive relationship-building. Community, Government, and Business Engagement (15%):Build and steward strategic relationships with community leaders, business partners, governmental officials, and key organizations to elevate the College’s presence and expand collaborative opportunities.In collaboration with college leadership create opportunities that highlight our institutional success at community, state, and national events, representing the Foundation and the College while strengthening institutional influence and partnerships. Board Relations and Governance Leadership (10%):Serve as an ex-officio member of the Foundation Board of Directors, cultivating strong relationships with trustees and working closely with the board chair to support effective governance, strategic alignment, and overall Foundation advancement.Engage board members as ambassadors and partners, strengthening their involvement in fundraising, advocacy, and community engagement. Organizational Leadership and Staff Development (10%):Inspire, mentor, and guide Foundation staff, establishing clear expectations and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, productivity, and goal-driven performance.Ensure team alignment with institutional priorities, providing direction and support that drive measurable outcomes.Oversee the Foundation budget and ensure responsibility management of all Foundation held funds, maintaining transparency, fiscal discipline, and alignment with donor intent.Implement best practices in financial governance, ensuring the Foundation’s long-term financial health and capacity to support the College’s mission. Enterprise and Property Management (10%):Provide executive oversight for GTC Foundation LLC, GTC McAlister LLC, and other ventures, ensuring sound operational management and strategic alignment with Foundation and College goals.Manage Foundation owed property assts to maximize value, support institutional needs, and advance long-term financial stability.
