This position requires technical aptitude, a strong commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to work effectively in both field and office settings under the supervision of senior staff.</p><align-center><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></align-center><align-center><br></align-center><p><strong>Field Observation and Testing</strong></p><ul><li>Perform field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, asphalt, and other materials in accordance with applicable ASTM standards (e.g., ASTM D1557, D6938, C39, C231, etc.).</li><li>Observe and document construction practices for compliance with approved project plans, specifications, and applicable codes.</li><li>Operate specialized testing equipment such as nuclear density gauges, penetrometers, and concrete testing apparatus.</li></ul><p><strong>Documentation and Reporting</strong></p><ul><li>Accurately document all field observations and test results using proper English grammar and technical writing practices.</li><li>Prepare clear, concise field and laboratory reports in a timely manner for internal review and client submission.</li></ul><p><strong>Project Support and Management (as experience is gained)</strong></p><ul><li>Assist in project setup including reviewing plans, obtaining project specifications, and coordinating schedules.</li><li>Support project managers with scheduling technicians and field staff, communicating with clients, writing technical reports (e.g., footing letters, remedial recommendations), attending site visits, and participating in project meetings.</li><li>Perform billing, review budget summary reports, and assist with collections as necessary.</li><li>Uphold the company’s professional image through consistent, positive client interaction and communication.</li></ul><p><strong>Health and Safety Compliance</strong></p><ul><li>Follow all safety protocols and company policies outlined in the Geo-Hydro Safety and Health Manual.</li><li>Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and participate in required safety training.</li><li>Maintain awareness of site-specific hazards and promote a culture of safety.</li></ul><p><strong>Business Development and Client Relations</strong></p><ul><li>Attend networking or client engagement functions as assigned by supervisor.</li><li>Assist with drafting technical proposals, scopes of work, and budgets.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Additional Expectations</strong></p><ul><li>Display professionalism in communication, dress, and behavior when representing the company.</li><li>Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow professionally under the guidance of senior staff.</li><li>Support the company’s mission and values through teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Additional duties as required.&nbsp;</li></ul>",
