Develop and implement processes that improve manufacturing production and deliver quality outputs. Meet Schneider’s quality standards while maintaining working knowledge of relevant technologies and best practices.</p><p><u><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></u>&nbsp;</p><ul><li><strong>Equipment Design</strong>    <ul>      <li>Design equipment using established design and drafting standards.</li>      <li>Develop new mechanisms and machine designs based on the needs of industry and current technologies.&nbsp;</li>      <li>Incorporate ancillary equipment into design projects.</li>      <li>Recommend improvements in the company’s offerings and work procedures utilizing the Action Request and EAR process.</li>      <li>Execute projects within established budget, schedules, and Quality Plans.</li>      <li>Identify issues and provide corrective actions to keep projects on track and within defined project scope.</li>      <li>Communicate designs with other areas of the company to allow for the efficient design, manufacture, and startup of the equipment.</li>      <li>Provide mechanical design direction through installation and startup in the field until the customer has accepted the system. Traveling onsite if deemed necessary.</li>    </ul></li><li><strong>Communication</strong>    <ul>      <li>Communicate in a manner that assures clarity and understanding with both internal and external customers.</li>      <li>Attend all department and process driven meetings.</li>      <li>Contribute, as a member of a team of design professionals, to achieve project, department, and company goals.</li>      <li>Travel required may include field support for customers to ensure satisfactory operation of machines, vendor support, training and/or trade show support. Approximately 10-20%. Must maintain valid enhanced driver’s license and/or passport for travel.</li>      <li>Build professional skills through continued training, education, and networking events.&nbsp;</li>    </ul></li></ul><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><p>BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years of experience in a design-build manufacturing environment as a mechanical engineer.</li><li>Project Management experience preferred.</li><li>Advanced training/education in engineering, leadership and project management preferred.</li><li>Microsoft technology and relevant design and life cycle management software.</li><li>Travel required may include field support for customers to ensure satisfactory operation of machines, vendor support, training and/or trade show support. Approximately 10-20%.
