Your primary responsibility will be to direct traffic around work zones, using clear signals and communication to prevent accidents and ensure the smooth flow of vehicles. You will be the first line of defense in protecting both workers and motorists, making your role vital to the success of any project. Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining traffic control devices, such as cones and signs, to clearly mark work areas. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to safer roadways and a more organized work environment.</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Valid driver&#39;s license.</li><li>Completion of a Flagger training course. (We will train)</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience as a Flagger or in a similar role.</li><li>Knowledge of traffic control regulations and safety practices.</li><li>First aid and CPR certification.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Direct traffic safely around construction zones using hand signals and flags.</li><li>Set up and maintain traffic control devices, including cones, signs, and barriers.</li><li>Monitor traffic flow and adjust signals as necessary to ensure safety.</li><li>Communicate effectively with construction crews and motorists to relay important information.</li><li>Report any incidents or hazards to the appropriate authorities promptly.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><p>The required skills for this position include effective communication and the ability to remain calm under pressure, as you will be interacting with both construction teams and the public.
