This encompasses oversight of company drivers, owner-operators, and third-party carriers.</p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Essential Duties</strong></p><p><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">Operate safety and in compliance with all established HSSE policies and procedures, promptly reporting and investigating all accidents, incidents, and injuries in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.&nbsp;</span></p><p data-pasted=\"true\">&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Identify, plan, design, and implement processes and procedures to optimize resource use, improve services, and reduce costs.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policy, and all applicable local, state, and federal laws.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Manage both Local and Linehaul dispatch operations, overseeing routing, scheduling, and dispatching of drivers, equipment, and freight loads, while ensuring efficient operations and timely reporting of activities.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Maximize equipment and driver utilization to create efficiencies between terminals.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Collaborate closely with Human Resources and Regulatory Compliance to maintain driver records and training.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Coordinate with Repair and Maintenance to ensure equipment is properly maintained and available for use.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Work with Terminal Managers daily to plan staffing, freight, and equipment movement.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Collaborate with Account Executives as necessary.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Assist Human Resources in recruitment and retention efforts.</p><p>&nbsp;&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Respect: Treat people of all levels and all walks of life with respect.
