    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Summary</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS) a Pacific Northern Environmental LLC division, is seeking Fleet Maintenance Technician II who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment and has the ability to provide exceptional service and skills to our company, clients, and employees.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC consists of five divisions including Advanced Electrical Technologies (AET), Taurus Power and Controls (Taurus), Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS), Pacific Northern Environmental Construction (PNEC), and WasteXpress Environmental (WXE). Together, we specialize in commercial and petroleum construction, industrial and commercial electrical, industrial cleaning, and hazardous waste disposal. PNE LLC is a multi-state organization with operating offices in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Hawaii. In addition, we carry out projects across the United States.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>CCS provides industrial cleaning and spill response to almost every pulp and paper mill in the Pacific Northwest. We also service major oil companies and a wide range of manufacturing and industrial clients. CCS has demonstrated its ability to complete large and complex industrial cleaning challenges on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with the most stringent industrial health &amp; safety programs. No industrial cleaning job is too large or too small for CCS.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Fleet Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing FAI/CVI inspections, preventative maintenance, and quality repairs on all fleet vehicles. They diagnose and repair mechanical and other related issues related to engines, transmissions, drivetrains, steering, suspension, and other critical systems to ensure safety and reliability.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education and Experience Qualifications </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or GED</li>\n<li>Must have 3-5 years’ experience in a previous fleet technician role.</li>\n<li>Previous work experience working on Sweepers, Vacuum Trucks, 80 or 120 bbl strongly preferred</li>\n<li>CDL A or B is required along with Tanker endorsement. Hazmat endorsement is preferred.</li>\n<li>Must be able to be insured under company driver insurance plan.</li>\n<li>Experience performing FAI/CVI (annual) inspections and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.</li>\n<li>Experience in proficiently diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, including engines, hydraulics, transmissions, differentials, steering, suspension, and exhaust systems.</li>\n<li>Experience using diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues and optimize vehicle performance.</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of protocols and regulatory compliance standards (DOT, OSHA)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities </span></p>\n<p>The Fleet Maintenance Technician II possessing the education and experience listed above performs the following:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Safely operate and maintain company vehicles as required for job duties, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies</li>\n<li>Conduct FAI/CVI (Federal Annual Inspection/Commercial Vehicle Inspection) on all fleet vehicles.</li>\n<li>Perform high-quality maintenance and repairs under the direction of senior fleet technicians, supervisors, or managers to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.</li>\n<li>Execute preventive maintenance inspections following company guidelines on all fleet vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.</li>\n<li>Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle malfunctions, identifying root causes and performing necessary repairs according to manufacturer specifications.</li>\n<li>Service and repair critical vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, clutches, driveline systems, differentials, steering and suspension systems, fuel and ignition systems, and exhaust systems.</li>\n<li>Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed, documenting parts used, labor hours, and any additional notes for future reference.</li>\n<li>Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced technicians/mechanics, offering advice on best practices and troubleshooting methods.</li>\n<li>Test vehicles after repairs and maintenance to ensure all systems are functioning correctly and report any additional issues to management.</li>\n<li>Respond to emergency service calls or breakdowns, providing on-site repairs and troubleshooting.</li>\n<li>Stay up to date with the latest vehicle technologies and repair techniques by attending training sessions and workshops.</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions and Physical Requirements </span></p>\n<p>The candidate must possess and be adaptable to the following physical abilities and working conditions:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Move about the jobsite as needed.</li>\n<li>Move work related equipment up to 50lbs.</li>\n<li>Remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.</li>\n<li>Operate various technological devices, including but not limited to a computer.</li>\n<li>Occasionally ascend/descend ladders and/or stairs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Employee Benefit Program</span></p>\n<p>Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC presently provides coverage for:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical, Dental &amp; Vision options with low premiums for employees and eligible dependents</li>\n<li>Life AD&amp;D - Voluntary and Company paid.</li>\n<li>Specialty RX programs.</li>\n<li>Group AFLAC options – Hospital, Critical, Accident and short-term Disability Plans</li>\n<li>Pre-Tax Flexible Savings Account (FSA)</li>\n<li>Pre-Tax Dependent Care Savings Account (DCSA)</li>\n<li>Telehealth by Teladoc.</li>\n<li>401(k) with discretionary annual company matching contributions.</li>\n<li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li>\n<li>Paid Trainings and Certifications</li>\n<li>Paid Time Off</li>\n<li>Paid Holiday for qualifying employees</li>\n<li>Up to $2,000 per year profit sharing for qualifying employees</li>\n<li>Annual company events</li>\n<li>Safety Incentives</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Please apply directly – <a href=\"https://pneco.bamboohr.com/careers/252\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https://pneco.bamboohr.com/careers/252</a></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>***Not open to outside recruiters***</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
