Responsibilities
As a part of our team, you will:
Assist mechanical engineers in reviewing and documenting all material properties in Nokia telecommunication products using 3D software and MS Office tools. Work alongside mechanical engineering professionals on day-to-day tasks, including in-lab assembly of prototypes and preparing HW documents. Contribute to the development of software tools that mechanical and electrical engineers can continue to use after your term ends. Support Mechanical Engineers by creating and reviewing mechanical fabrication and assembly drawings for both internal and external customers. Develop piece part designs and assemblies with guidance and direction in sheet metal, plastic, cast, extrusions, including fabrication techniques and tolerance analysis.
Qualifications
Currently a candidate for a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada. Working knowledge of the CREO tool is an asset. Experience with electronics packaging is an asset. Self-driven, proactive team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
