Description Principal Function: Staffing Pool members are responsible for general labor across all departments as needed. These tasks may include assisting with extra workload, covering absences and vacations, and supplementing crews to provide the best possible guest experience during festivals. Although hours are not guaranteed, this role can provide additional income to other employment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to: Portion and serve food; prepare pretzels and sandwiches; operate a soda fountain. Work at the Tubing Hill or other attractions under the direction of trained staff. Assist with traffic control for special events; coordinate parking to ensure maximum utilization of space. Surface clean sinks and toilets; collect and transport waste materials. Set up and take down tables and chairs; manually transport boxes and equipment. Assist Camp, Interpretation, or Education staff in providing quality guest experiences. Willing to work in any department or position as needed. Supervisory Responsibilities:  This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience: Must be a minimum of 16 years of age; enrolled in high school or college and/or graduated or obtained GED. Must have friendly, outgoing and patient personality. Schedule and Hours: This is an on-call/PRN position with no guarantee of hours. Benefits are not provided. Rate of pay is $15/hour. Open positions are posted on the job board 24 hours to two weeks before the shift begins. Must be able to work across multiple departments. Variety and flexibility are key to this role. Minimum service is one shift every 8 weeks. Maximum hours are limited to 40 per week.
