We are a service-based organization made up of great people who work hard to get the job done and deliver excellence in the communities where we work and live.</p><p><strong>Description:</strong></p><p>ATCO Frontec is seeking <strong>Red Seal Journeyman Plumbers/Gasfitter A</strong>&nbsp;to join our ATCO Facilities Solutions team in Calgary, AB</p><p>The Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter is responsible for maintenance, modifications, and installation/dismantling of plumbing systems throughout our construction projects.</p><p>The successful candidate must be willing to work after hours and on weekends as required. Tools, uniforms, PPE are provided.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct timely inspections, testing, and accurate reporting of equipment defects and deficiencies</li><li>Running drain lines, plumbing lines, and Gas lines as well as installation of all plumbing related equipment.</li><li>Installation of Boilers, hot-water tanks and furnaces.</li><li>Replace valves and actuators</li><li>Contribute input for planned and scheduled work, and assist with completing the committed schedule</li><li>Aid in scoping, estimating, planning, and executing new work or projects</li><li>Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported, and graded</li><li>Guarantee all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Journeyman Plumber Certificate and Red Seal with a minimum of 3 years’ experience is required</li><li>Class A Gas Fitter is required.</li><li>Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract is required</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Able to read drawings and blueprints</li><li>Ability to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safety</li><li>Willing to travel</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>We would like to thank everyone for their application; however, only those being considered for an interview will be contacted.&nbsp;</p><p>This position has been identified as safety sensitive and will require completion of a pre-employment alcohol &amp; drug test, fit to work medical test, background check, and security clearance.</p><p>Collection, use, and retention of personal information will be in accordance with ATCO Group privacy policies and practices.</p><p>By submitting your resume and personal information to the ATCO Group of Companies, and/or participating in a personal interview, you acknowledge and consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information by the ATCO Group of Companies to determine your suitability for employment opportunities within the ATCO Group of Companies.</p>",
