    "requisitionDescription": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Passero Associates&#39;&nbsp;</strong>is looking for a talented<strong>&nbsp;Civil Project Manager/Aviation Civil Project Manager&nbsp;</strong>to join our<strong>&nbsp;Albany, NY office.&nbsp;</strong>The candidate will be offered tremendous management and growth opportunities, overseeing a wide range of aviation-focused planning and site development projects. Project assignments will include all aspects of airfield development, including aviation civil design (site layout, storm water management, utility design, etc.), master planning, and development of 5-year capital improvement plans. Experience with municipal and institutional clients is advantageous. At Passero Associates, we focus on working in a team environment, all while promoting individual growth and responsibility.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead and manage a design team from concept design through construction document development, including the production of drawings, technical specifications, and engineering reports for permit agency (FAA, DOT) approval, bidding, and construction.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with client to develop a multi-year CIP for our airport clients.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with an interdisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and planners to plan, design, and oversee construction of a variety of capital improvement projects.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Act as the client&rsquo;s representative, coordinating and leading meetings with governing agencies for small- and large-scale projects, including conducting pre--bid, bid openings, pre-construction, construction progress, final inspection, and project closeout meetings.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate the project bid process, including preparation of bid tabulations and award recommendation letters.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide construction administration services, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to contractor RFIs, reviewing pay applications, and managing construction observation and materials testing team members.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepare scope and fee proposals, negotiate contracts with clients, prepare project work plans, monitor project schedules, prepare monthly invoices, and track project budgets and team performance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide clear communication with internal and external team members, clients, and governing authorities.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications/Experience:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">BS degree in Civil Engineering or a Civil-related field.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">PE required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">5-10+ years of experience in site development and/or transportation planning, design, permitting, and construction.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Aviation experience is desirable, not required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Well versed in technical specifications, contract documents, and construction cost estimates.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to coordinate the project bid process.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experienced in developing and mentoring a team of junior team members.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Effective communication and technical writing skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Valid driver&rsquo;s license and personal vehicle.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to obtain Airport Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge required, including Federal Background Check (with clear record).</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>About Passero: founded in 1972, Passero Associates has a staff of more than 180 professionals in nine offices providing high-quality, value-oriented architecture, aviation, civil and structural engineering, planning, transportation, and survey services throughout the northeastern, southeastern, and midwestern United States.&nbsp;</em></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>As a full-service professional AEC firm, our technical teams specialize in traffic engineering, sustainability, program management, design-build, construction observation, 3D visualization, and virtual infrastructure services and solutions.
