    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential Full Time opportunity for a Dental Hygienist at Patuxent River Naval Branch Health Clinic in Dahlgren, VA and Indian Head DTF.  </p>\n<p>Aspects of the practice include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Full-time employment opportunity</li>\n   <li>Monday through Friday</li>\n   <li>Paid time off</li>\n   <li>Full Benefits</li>\n  </ul><p> </p><p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><p>The hygienist will have the following requirements:</p><p> </p><strong>Experience: </strong>Candidates shall have a minimum of twelve (12) months of specialized full-time clinical experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist within the preceding thirty-six (36) months following graduation.</li>\n <li> </li>\n <li><p>Candidate Must be highly proficient in oral prophylaxis; preliminary periodontal examinations (including diagnostic tests and radiographs); oral health education; preparing treatment plans for plaque control; applying topical fluorides and desensitizing agents; and planning, conducting, and evaluating preventive dental health programs. </p></li>\n <li> </li>\n <li>Hold a current, unrestricted license to practice as a dental hygienist in any one of the fifty States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands.<p><strong> </strong><strong> </strong></p><strong>Radiography:</strong> Must possess a current certification in dental radiography.</li>\n <li> </li>\n <li><strong>Local Anesthesia: </strong>The RDH must possess documented proof of advanced training and certification to administer local anesthesia, in accordance with the Local Anesthesia Administration by Dental Hygienists.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Overview: </strong></p>\n<p>Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) was established in 1988 to deliver systems and processes designed to meet the unique needs of Military and VA Health Systems.
