          "text": "<p>CEDA is currently seeking 3 Utility Operators, Class 2.&#xa0; Two positions are for Pressure &amp; Vacuum and 1 for our Frac Tank Division at our Sarnia, ON location! &#xa0;If you’re looking for a company that will give you the opportunity to&#xa0;<strong>learn and gain experience</strong>&#xa0;on pieces of equipment like high volume storage tanks, vacuum trucks and high pressure water jetting units, apply today!</p><p>CEDA's Sarnia location is a union shop and as such, candidates applying to this position should know enrollment in the International Union of Operating Engineers local 793 will be required after working 1040 hours.</p><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>$24 - $26 per hour</strong>&#xa0;with an annual increase on March 1</li><li><strong>Benefits and pension </strong>through International&#xa0;Union of Operating Engineers - Local 793 after 1040 hours worked</li><li><strong>Eligible for Overtime </strong>as per the collective agreement</li><li><strong>Monday – Friday local&#xa0;</strong>ad hoc deployment with opportunity for over time and out of town work</li><li>Skill development and&#xa0;<strong>opportunity for growth</strong></li><li>Opportunity to&#xa0;<strong>learn and gain experience</strong>&#xa0;on all pieces of equipment like vacuum trucks, high pressure water jetting units and chemical cleaning units!</li><li><strong>Variety:</strong>&#xa0;changing work scopes from one day to the next – there is always a new challenge</li><li>Be a part of a true&#xa0;<strong>team</strong>. Our work is difficult but we get it done safely, with great people</li></ul><p><strong>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Assist with the operation and maintenance of high-volume storage tanks, pumps, vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools</li><li>Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor intensive capacity</li><li>Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment – our experienced crew has your back</li><li>Ensure safety for all team members and property</li><li>Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision</li><li>Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions</li><li>Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment</li><li>Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment</li><li>Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports and safety documents</li><li>Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Role Specifications</strong></p><ul><li>Valid Class&#xa0;G driver’s license with no more than 5 demerits in the last two years</li><li>1+ years experience in an industrial environment is an asset but not required</li><li>Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test</li><li>Ability to travel throughout Ontario (flexibility in scheduling is required)</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong mechanical aptitude</li><li>You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment</li><li>Experience and comfort with confined spaces</li><li>Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)</li><li>Comfortable with the use of additional respiratory equipment and air supply; wearing a full face mask and carrying your own source of oxygen</li><li>You’re happiest working in a team, sharing a laugh with your coworkers and getting the job done safely</li></ul><ul></ul>",
