Position Summary The Business Development Representative is responsible for generating new commercial roofing opportunities, managing a consistent sales pipeline, and closing deals that support RTP's growth goals. This role focuses on reroof and service sales, requiring a professional who can build lasting relationships with commercial clients, work closely with estimating and operations, and sell on value while protecting margins. What's in it for You Competitive base salary + commission structure Company truck and gas card Health insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Key Responsibilities Pipeline Development & Prospecting Prospect and develop new commercial roofing opportunities across reroof segments Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of active opportunities Conduct site visits, roof inspections, and client meetings to identify project scopes Sales & Estimating Collaboration Prepare and present proposals and value-based solutions to commercial customers Partner with estimating and operations to ensure accurate scoping and smooth project delivery Close sales while maintaining target gross margins Customer Relationship Management Grow long-term relationships with building owners, facility managers, and general contractors Maintain accurate CRM updates and reliable sales forecasts Represent RTP with professionalism and integrity at all times in the field Qualifications Required 3+ years of commercial roofing sales experience OR 5+ years of B2B construction sales with a proven track record History of meeting or exceeding sales targets Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems and scopes of work Disciplined approach to pipeline management and forecasting Ability to sell on value and protect margins Strong communication, organizational, and client relationship skills Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites regularly Preferred Existing relationships with building owners, property managers, or GCs Experience with CRM platforms for pipeline and activity tracking Thank you for considering a career with Roof Technology Partners.
