Depending on assigned area of responsibility, incumbents in the position may perform one or more of the activities described below.</span></p>\n    <ul>\n     <li>Conducts inspections of properties to determine mosquito breeding areas and identify types of larvae.&nbsp;</li>\n     <li>Notifies owners or occupants of inspection findings.&nbsp;</li>\n     <li>Operates vehicle and mounted spray equipment and applies larvicidal and adulticidal preparations to mosquito breeding areas.&nbsp;</li>\n     <li>Mixes insecticides to apply on mosquito infested areas.&nbsp;</li>\n     <li>Loads pesticides into the spray tank and cleans fogging and larvicidal machines or other equipment.&nbsp;</li>\n     <li>Reports large or unusual mosquito breeding areas requiring special larvicidal applications from helicopters or large spray trucks.&nbsp;</li>\n     <li>Performs preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.</li>\n     <li>Performs other related duties as required.</li>\n    </ul>\n    <p>&nbsp;</p></td>\n  </tr>\n  <tr>\n   <td>\n    <p><span><i><strong><u>Job Specifications</u></strong></i></span></p>\n    <ul>\n     <li><span>Knowledge of mosquito breeding habitats and adult and larvae specimen identification.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Knowledge of control and extermination methods, materials, and equipment.
