font-size: 12pt\">Here at B&amp;K, the ideal candidate for the VDC (BIM) Project Manager will have the ability to supervise VDC Specialists and Spoolers on Plumbing and Piping disciplines.  The person will oversee team productivity, time management, group standards and quality.  It also manages and directs outsource BIM subcontractors as required.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Review contract documents thoroughly for all projects and recommend a strategy prior to modeling.  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Incorporate best practices, constructability, and cost effectiveness.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Operate as the pre-construction project manager of BIM tasks, pushing construction management and other internal/external stake holders to stay on task. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Work with Project Managers to obtain information required for BIM, schedule coordination and design tasks, conduct BIM reviews and off-team quality reviews, and conduct site visits. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Facilitate BIM coordination meetings on projects where Batchelor &amp; Kimball is the BIM lead on the project.  This includes running the model during coordination meetings and assigning clashes to individuals or sub-contractors.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assist management in the recruitment and growth of the best VDC Professionals in the industry to meet future growth goals. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Enforce project templates, standard and processes as previously established throughout the VDC Group.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform initial model and drawing file setup while continually updating models as required throughout the project lifecycle.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assist VDC Specialists with modelling functions as required by the project schedule to ensure that project deadlines are met.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Support the Robotic Total Station (Trimble) layout team with site control through communication with internal or external project teams.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Supervisory / Budgetary / External Communication Responsibility:</span><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\"> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Manage project specific duties related to VDC Specialists and Spoolers. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Manage BIM/VDC subcontractor scheduling and productivity on a project specific basis.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Schedule and balance the daily work activity among the VDC team members to support construction and fabrication needs. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Provide input on BIM estimates, monitoring and meeting financial goals and schedules.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Maintain an accurate schedule of required activities for each project.  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif;
