This position offers significant opportunities for career advancement and professional growth while supporting critical missions and operations.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the end-to-end management of software licenses, from procurement and deployment to renewal and retirement.</li><li>Maintain a centralized and up-to-date inventory of all software licenses and assets.</li><li>Monitor software usage and compliance across the organization to ensure alignment with license agreements and regulatory standards.</li><li>Conduct regular internal reviews and prepare for vendor or third-party audits; address and resolve discrepancies proactively.</li><li>Analyze software usage data to identify underutilized resources and propose cost-saving opportunities.</li><li>Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for software asset management (SAM).</li><li>Negotiate and manage software licensing agreements and renewals with vendors to secure favorable terms.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, procurement, finance, legal, and business units, to support licensing strategy and contract compliance.</li><li>Provide training and guidance on software usage and compliance policies to internal stakeholders.</li><li>Generate and deliver regular reports on software utilization, compliance status, and optimization metrics to leadership and stakeholders.</li></ul><p><em>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.</em></p>",

          "text": "<ul><li>U.S. Citizen with an active DoW&#xa0;Secret&#xa0;Clearance.</li><li>Five (5+)&#xa0;years of relevant experience or&#xa0;a BA/BS Degree with two (2+) years of experience working in IT software asset management, IT procurement, or related fields.</li><li>IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per&#xa0;DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security,&#xa0;GICSP,&#xa0;GSEC, SSCP, etc.).</li><li>Ability to plan and implement large-scale network configurations and upgrades while minimizing downtime.</li><li>Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v4 certification</li><li>Experience with incident management within the ServiceNow Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) platform.</li><li>Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.</li><li>A problem solver and troubleshooter&#xa0;who thrives in resolving&#xa0;complex problems.</li><li>Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.</li><li>Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.</li></ul><p><strong>Salary Range:&#xa0;</strong>$54,000 - $90,000</p><p>Several factors influence the final salary or hourly rate, including but not limited to contract wage determinations, relevant work experience, role-specific skills and competencies, geographic location, educational background, certifications, and federal government contract labor categories.</p>",
