    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why this role is important to us</span><br>The role will report directly to the Senior Managers for Investment Compliance and Product Risk, Fund Risk <br>and Operational Risk, depending on the particular focus of work allocated to the VIE.<br>This is an important role within the organization as it contributes to the oversight of both the Investment <br>Management business and the Management Company business as well as ensuring that the funds <br>are complying with relevant regulations and client guidelines.<br>Both the Investment Management and Management Company businesses are growing and changing so <br>there are continued opportunities for learning and development on the job.<br>The successful candidate will work closely with various members of the overall Risk department as well as <br>the Investment teams and other teams as required.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will be responsible for</span><br>• Assist in the daily investment compliance monitoring using proprietary system ALTO ensuring pre <br>and post trade alerts are dealt with on a timely basis<br>• Monitoring and control of all risk classifications: market, regulatory, liquidity, valuation, credit, <br>counterparty, commercial, operational and reputational risks<br>• Monitor IMA, prospectus, regulatory, risk and internal limits on the portfolios managed in Dublin <br>on both a pre and post trade basis.<br>• Assist in product launches, preparation of rule matrices and implementation of new funds <br>when required <br>• Monitor requirements under the Investment Risk framework as required. <br>• Liaise with the Investment teams to resolve any breaches identified, as well as addressing any <br>queries relating to daily monitoring.<br>• Handle queries received to the team mailbox and ensure they are responded to appropriately <br>and timely.<br>• Escalate breaches as appropriate per procedures<br>• Prepare and participate in portfolio reviews with Investment Teams to assess and address <br>investment risks on an ongoing basis<br>• Prepare monthly reporting within the deadlines (AUM / ESG / Performance / Client)<br>• Participate in the oversight of the client funds that are delegated to other Investment Management <br>companies.<br>• Assist with RFPs<br>• Analyse and report on risk management trends<br>• Analyse and report on risk management trends, and liaise with business units in taking corrective <br>action where required.<br>• Help with preparation of documents to be presented at the Risk Management Committee and <br>Board reporting, as well as other meetings as required.<br>• Assist the Risk team on projects and initiatives where directed.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we value for the role </span><br>• Outstanding attention to detail, taking pride in doing a job of the highest standard<br>• Excellent team player, interpersonal and ability to interact effectively with colleagues in other <br>business functions<br>• Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas<br>• Organised, analytical and strategic thinker, with strong project management skills<br>• Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines<br>• Self-starter who can work on their own as well as part of a team<br>Education &amp; Preferred Qualifications<br>Degree in area of Finance, Engineering, Business or other relevant area, or similar post-graduate <br>qualification or demonstrated relevant work experience<br>*Keep preferred requirements brief*<br>We welcome applications from those who may be returning to work following a break or those who are <br>at the beginning of their careers.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About Amundi</span><br>What we do.
