In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team while supporting the United States Customs and Border Protection.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Work with the development team to create test strategies and customized solutions</li><li>Help collect and develop test data and technical information used for creating test suites</li><li>Document test strategies and results as needed</li><li>Engage with complex and data heavy test scenarios</li><li>Learn automated testing, if desired</li></ul><p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in a Java-based development environment, as a tester or other IT related role</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Experience Interface testing (API's, EDI, middleware testing) and data reconciliation / validation testing (conversion testing)</li><li>Experience with creating test plans based on gathered requirements and documenting test results</li><li>Working knowledge of issue/bug tracking tools (such as Jira)</li><li>Experience with testing web-based/cloud applications</li><li>Experience writing new test cases and modifying existing ones</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with writing SQL to query data from database<strong>s</strong></li><li>Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded</li><li>Ability to research problems, identify a root cause, and recommend and implement a solution</li><li>Aptitude for picking up technology quickly along with a desire to learn and progress</li><li>Good communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Demonstrates a passion for solving complex software challenges, and enjoys working alongside fellow team members to make that happen</li></ul><p><strong>Security Clearance</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Required active DHS, CBP or Top-Secret clearance.</strong></li></ul><p><strong>More About B&amp;A:</strong></p><p><em><strong>Notable Clients</strong></em><br>B&amp;A has grown to be a company that is trusted by our clients for exceptional service, innovative solutions, and inspired employees.
