    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Title: Engineering Specialist</span></p>\n<p>Location: Asheville, NC</p>\n<p>Job Type: Part-time Flex</p>\n<p> <br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What’s the Opportunity?</span></p>\n<p>This part-time flex role will experience a combination of hands-on fieldwork and a defined project within environmental engineering, as well as the opportunity for exposure to other service areas within our firm. There will be opportunities to work with senior and principal-level professionals, assisting with project-related tasks and gaining insight into the world of professional consulting. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>SPCC plan development for industrial facilities</li>\n<li>Town stream restoration assessments</li>\n<li>IP construction oversight/documentation</li>\n<li>Industrial stormwater sampling and reporting</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What Are We Looking For? </span></p>\n<p>Ideal candidates will have the following:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical field. Rising seniors, or graduate students are encouraged to apply.</li>\n<li>Previous internship, coursework, research, or hands-on project experience related to engineering, environmental consulting, construction, field work, data analysis, or similar technical disciplines is preferred.</li>\n<li>Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li>\n<li>Demonstrates willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced professional setting.</li>\n<li>Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and interest in learning industry-specific software and tools.</li>\n<li>Prior experience in consulting, professional services, field work, laboratory work, or client service environments is a plus, but not required.</li>\n<li>Interest in environmental consulting, engineering, health &amp; safety, compliance, restoration, or related technical services preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What Can You Expect? </span></p>\n<p>A collaborative work environment where we encourage everyone to bring their authentic self.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who Are We? </span></p>\n<p>Anchor QEA provides environmental planning, science, and engineering consulting services with the mission of transforming our environment and communities with integrity and vibe.
