At Powell, an Electrical Engineer holding a minimum of a&nbsp;bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or a related engineering discipline with a focus on power and or control systems, will be the “technical face” on projects from concept to completion.&nbsp; You will be working with clients to design custom PLC, SCADA, HMI, RTU, and relay control panels to meet their technical specifications and quality standards within the constraints of the budget and the schedule.&nbsp; Additionally, an Electrical Engineer will learn industry standards and trends.&nbsp; Finally, you will join a team&nbsp;that fosters&nbsp;a supportive environment, continuous learning and development where your expertise will not only be appreciated but recognized and rewarded.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Design standard jobs with guidance to match client specifications and requirements</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Draft electrical construction drawings using AutoCAD in conjunction with our wiring teams</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Gain design knowledge to engineer various control and relay panels&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Work with your Supervisor and the Project Management team to help interpret project write-ups, client specifications, drawings, and other correspondence during the life of the project</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Create and validate Bills of Materials for client submittal and approval per Powell Standards</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Complete self-design reviews to verify accuracy and completeness of designs before issuing projects to Powell’s manufacturing floor for construction</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Gain the ability to provide technical support in client meetings</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Coordinate with purchasing and suppliers to specify &amp;
