    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a motivated Project Coordinator to join our Intsel Steel East team at our New Castle, DE location. The ideal candidate will have experience with steel deck and joist projects, with a strong ability to interpret plans, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate pricing, high-quality outcomes, and timely delivery.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with and mentor estimating team members and project managers on steel-related projects </li>\n <li>Generate and verify bills of materials for structural steel, decking, and joist systems to support production requirements </li>\n <li>Manage and coordinate estimating schedules to meet project deadlines </li>\n <li>Handle multiple steel projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment </li>\n <li>Communicate and coordinate with subcontracted detailers on steel design and fabrication requirements to ensure project accuracy </li>\n <li>Partner with sales leadership to provide pricing insights, market feedback, and performance trends within the steel industry </li>\n <li>Support outside sales representatives in building and maintaining a strong pipeline of steel-related opportunities </li>\n <li>Uphold and support the company’s Quality System standards, ensuring all steel products meet specifications and compliance requirements </li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><u>Education & Experience</u>: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate’s degree from an accredited institution or three to five years of equivalent work experience with steel deck and bar joist projects. </li>\n <li>Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Proficient level of computer skills in typing, number key, Word, Excel and Outlook.</li>\n <li>Able to work in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Exceptional communication skills.</li>\n <li>Problem solving and creative thinking.</li>\n <li>Steel project management experience.</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of AUTO CAD & TEKLA</li>\n <li>Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural and structural blueprints. </li>\n <li>Proficient in project mangement software.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Other:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li> Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
