These values are what give us the cutting edge in knife exchange.</p><p><br><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>We are looking for an <u><strong>AM shift warehouse associate with responsibilities as a backup transfer truck driver</strong></u><u>.</u> You'll be at the center of our state-of-the-art sharpening center, where we sharpen and process 80,000+ knives and blades for our customers.</p><p><br><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Plan, schedule, and execute all distribution services, including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned/damaged goods, maintenance, and administrative activities, to ensure customer requirements are met. Maintains quality compliance.</li><li>Ensure shipping schedules are implemented correctly, and jobs are completed properly. Apply sound communication to carrier-based as well as receiving facilities.</li><li>Ensure that customer orders are picked and shipped in a timely fashion within prescribed cost levels. Develop and implement an effective receiving operation that minimizes cost and ensures receiving paperwork is processed accurately and promptly.</li><li>Checks and unloads inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, and picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with a high level of productivity.</li><li>Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork</li><li>Counts/verifies, and records all products entering or leaving the building, ensuring that all products are properly counted.</li><li>Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts. Ensure the optimal utilization of dock space.</li><li>Records: Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.</li><li>Monitor the cleanliness and working condition of all equipment and the facility.</li><li>Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining warehouse security. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety; ensure compliance in accordance with OSHA and other appropriate standards. <strong>Ability to drive 26 FT box truck as needed.</strong></li><li>Other duties: As assigned by Management.</li></ul>",
