    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Fortinet is looking for Software Release QAs&nbsp;to join the FortiClient QA Team. FortiClient is an endpoint security product for Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux, Android OS, Apple iOS and Chromebook.</p>\n<p>As a Software Release QA, you will be working on testing of FortiClient, which integrates with various Fortinet products including the FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSandbox, FortiCloud, FortiSASE and FortiGuard Distribution Network (FDN). These positions are responsible for ensuring Fortinet products meet&nbsp;the high standards we expect before release to the market.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Technical Job Duties:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Execute regression testing on products using a combination of manual and auto testing techniques. Create, maintain, and execute test specifications and test cases</li>\n <li>Write and maintain automation scripts</li>\n <li>Identify, document, and track software defects found during testing</li>\n <li>Work closely with developers to ensure defects are correctly identified and fixed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Writing Job Duties:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work closely with Developers, QA, Product Managers, and others to understand new features, use cases, and customer scenarios.</li>\n <li>Document &amp; publish release notes, user guides, reference materials and use case scenarios for new product releases.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Job Experience Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3 - 5 years of software testing or developing experience.</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching</li>\n <li>Working experience on Virtual machine environment, i.e VMware / ESXi, Hypervisor</li>\n <li>Demonstrated knowledge of firewalls, Linux, Sniff, or Ethereal</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of IPSec, SSL VPN, data encryption and authentication</li>\n <li>Knowledge of general QA procedures and methodologies, as well as software development fundamentals</li>\n <li>Experience with programming or scripting skills (Python, Perl, Tcl, Bash, etc.)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience configuring, installing, and troubleshooting PC/server software and hardware in a Windows and Unix environment</li>\n <li>Experience with public cloud infrastructure, such as AWS and Azure</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to logically and analytically troubleshoot software</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate well with other departments</li>\n <li>Ability to work on assigned tasks under tight time constraints</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to write clear and reproducible problem reports, and test results</li>\n <li>Demonstrated writing skills.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of database is considered an asset</li>\n <li>Knowledge of JSON API is considered an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Educational Requirement:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or related field</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $80,000 - $115,000 annually.&nbsp; Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.&nbsp; Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Fortinet strives to provide you and your family with a comprehensive benefits package.
