In this position, you’ll provide quality nursing care to patients by assessing, planning, educating, implementing, and evaluating age appropriate care in a manner that incorporates family centered principals and cost effective care.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><p>Education:</p><p>Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or other nursing degree with acceptance or current enrollment in a BSN program and signed agreement</p><p>Licensure &amp; Certifications:</p><ul><li>Current Texas Board of Nursing or Nurse Licensure Compact license</li><li>BLS certification required (American Heart Association)</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Minimum of 9 months of professional nursing experience</li></ul><p>Skills &amp; Abilities:</p><ul><li>Demonstrates positive and appropriate interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong time and resource management abilities</li><li>Demonstrates flexibility, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li><li>Knowledge of unit-specific equipment and the nursing process</li><li>PALS certification preferred</li></ul><p><i>As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.</i></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>4+ years in women’s services</li><li>Experience on OB Triage, Labor &amp; Delivery, Postpartum, Antepartum</li><li>High-Risk Women’s Services (including GYN and antepartum OB patients)</li><li>Mother/Baby Unit (Couplet Care)</li><li>Newborn Transition Nurse (providing care to newly delivered newborns)</li></ul>",
