Help shape our company with innovative ideas around safety!</p><p><strong>TAPCO Benefits</strong>: Enjoy great benefits like vision, dental, health, but also take time for yourself with vacation time and paid holidays.</p><p><strong>What you will accomplish as a Warehouse Worker:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Operate pallet jack and other non-power equipment &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Compares identifying information and counts weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Uses computer to look up, and verify data related to incoming and outgoing orders &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Retrieves products from warehouse locations and assembles customer orders &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Assembles wooden or cardboard containers, or selects preassembled containers and inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding</li><li>Affixes shipping label on packages or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons, using stenciling equipment &nbsp;</li><li>Attaches identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers &nbsp;</li><li>Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, follows established procedures to reject damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper and supervisor to rectify damages and shortages &nbsp;</li><li>Stocks items into proper locations &nbsp;</li><li>Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications &nbsp;</li><li>Follows all safety rules and 5S / Lean Manufacturing procedures &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Operate different types of forklifts including stand-up, sit-down and order picker</li><li>Utilize RF scanners to pick inventory and product movement</li><li>Receive off packing slips and help stock both our warehouses.</li><li>Maintain shipping, receiving and inventory records through proper documentation</li><li>Maintain organization and warehouse cleanliness</li><li>Responsible for all warehouse safety protocols including, but not limited to utilizing PPE and performing safety checks on all powered equipment</li></ul><p><strong>Position Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to transition from working independently to working in a team environment&nbsp;</li><li>A consistent work history</li><li>High School diploma or equivalent preferred&nbsp;</li><li>Experience using basic computer skills preferred&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>About Us:</strong></p><p>At TAPCO, our mission is to enhance transportation and personal safety in our communities through innovative solutions and products.
