Grow Here</strong>.&quot;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;<br>&nbsp;We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining spray equipment according to specifications as well as blending chemicals according to labels and will be responsible for assisting with the agronomy operations and providing excellent customer service.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Executing processes and operating machinery and equipment as required, including providing accurate and efficient unloading and delivery of product.&nbsp;This position involves the frequent operation of&nbsp;Skidloaders, Tractor/Mowers, Forklifts and Applicator equipment.</li><li>Inspecting buildings, grounds, and equipment utilized by the facility to troubleshoot, perform light maintenance, and complete repair work.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for blending crop protection products per label instructions to ensure quality chemicals, reading maps, following directions, and&nbsp;operating&nbsp;equipment with computer&nbsp;assisted&nbsp;operations.</li><li>Interacting regularly with&nbsp;customers,&nbsp;peers,&nbsp;and management to&nbsp;provide&nbsp;exceptional customer service,&nbsp;pursue continuous improvement of facility operations,&nbsp;and promote a teamwork focused&nbsp;environment. Includes interacting with Sales and Agronomy teams&nbsp;regarding&nbsp;field scouting and chemical mix recommendations.</li><li>&nbsp;Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program, and DOT regulations.</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Diploma/GED or 0-1 year related experience; or combination of education and experience</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with the ability to obtain a CDL.&nbsp;</li><li>Commercial Applicator License or ability to obtain license. &nbsp;</li><li>Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be 18 years or older.&nbsp;</li><li>English Proficiency.</li><li>Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work in confined spaces.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>CDL&nbsp;</li><li>Experience running applicator&nbsp;equipment.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
