    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p id=\"isPasted\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Summary:&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">We are seeking an experienced Opto-Mechanical Manufacturing Technician to join our team in the Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services industry. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting complex opto-mechanical systems. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assemble and test opto-mechanical systems according to engineering drawings and specifications</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Troubleshoot and repair opto-mechanical systems as needed</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve manufacturing processes</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Adhere to all safety and quality standards</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Process assembly transactions within ERP system to maintain inventory control</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicate frequently with team members. Openly brainstorms with team members.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This job has no supervisory responsibilities.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Associate&#39;s degree in Optics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with laser alignment and testing</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with vacuum systems and processes</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with cleanroom protocols and procedures</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with ERP systems and inventory management</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Education and/or Experience&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Associate&#39;s degree in Optics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum of industry experience.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Other Desired Engineering Skills and Abilities&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The following skills, although not required, will be considered a plus when evaluating a candidate:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Computer Skills</strong>: Experience with Excel or Mini-Tab to capture, graph, analyze and communicate test data is preferred. Basic word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software skills are required.
