    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>The Warehouse Yard Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse and yard operations to support safe, efficient, and compliant material handling, storage, shipping, and receiving activities at the Port Hueneme Support Facility (PHSF). This role supervises daily operations involving materials, equipment, containerized cargo units (CCUs), hazardous waste coordination, inventory control, and warehouse compliance activities.</p><p>The Warehouse Yard Supervisor works closely with operations personnel, warehouse staff, vessel crews, and contractors to ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and a safe working environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><h3><br></h3><h3><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Yard Operations</span></h3><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li>Supervise daily yard activities to ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials, equipment, and CCUs.</li><li>Coordinate and oversee loading and unloading activities for trucks, vessels, trailers, and other transport equipment.</li><li>Maintain organized yard layout and storage practices to maximize safety, security, and space utilization.</li><li>Coordinate loading of pipe, materials, and equipment onto vessels and trailers.</li><li>Schedule and coordinate bulk material transfers and drill cutting bin activities.</li><li>Monitor yard conditions and report safety or environmental concerns, including leaking oil incidents.</li><li>Ensure required operational and safety training for personnel is completed and documented.</li></ul><h3><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Warehouse Operations</span></h3><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li>Supervise warehouse shipping, receiving, storage, and inventory control activities.</li><li>Maintain inventory accuracy through routine cycle counts and reconciliation activities.</li><li>Oversee commissioning materials, inspections, shipping documentation, and receiving records.</li><li>Organize indoor storage areas to maintain safe and efficient warehouse operations.</li><li>Troubleshoot operational delays and support timely resolution of warehouse issues.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse safety, organization, quality, and operational efficiency.</li></ul><h3><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Safety, Compliance &amp; Environmental Responsibilities</span></h3><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable environmental regulations.</li><li>Coordinate hazardous waste handling activities between offshore platforms and approved disposal locations.</li><li>Maintain hazardous waste manifests and required compliance documentation.</li><li>Maintain SDS documentation, chemical logs, and other environmental compliance records.</li><li>Conduct and document inspections of chemical storage areas, eyewash stations, fire extinguishers, warehouse racking, and related operational equipment.</li><li>Coordinate NORM certification documentation and readings for applicable scrap containers prior to transport.</li><li>Ensure all inspection records, certifications, and compliance documentation are completed accurately and retained according to company procedures.</li></ul><h3><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Equipment &amp; Facility Oversight</span></h3><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li>Coordinate annual and pre-use inspections of CCUs, lifting devices, forklifts, vehicles, and yard equipment.</li><li>Monitor the condition and maintenance of forklifts, yard equipment, perimeter fencing, gates, and exterior building areas.</li><li>Maintain required inspection and certification records for operational equipment and lifting devices.</li></ul><h3><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Team Support &amp; Leadership</span></h3><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li>Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and support to warehouse and yard personnel.</li><li>Promote a safe, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.</li><li>Support staffing coverage and operational continuity during peak activity periods.</li><li>Communicate effectively with internal departments, offshore personnel, vendors, and contractors regarding warehouse, yard, and operational support activities.</li></ul></div>\n",
