This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing organization dedicated to delivering compassionate, innovative mental health services.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The<strong> Director of Facility Operations</strong> will oversee all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance, safety compliance, utilities management, and vendor coordination. This leader will play a critical role in maintaining regulatory readiness and supporting a safe therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Ideal candidates bring strong healthcare facilities experience, leadership ability, and a proactive approach to operational excellence.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PURPOSE STATEMENT:</strong></p>\n<p>Responsible for the overall maintenance of the buildings, grounds, fixtures, and equipment of the facility. Areas of responsibility may include two or more of the following areas/departments: safety, security, maintenance, facilities, materials management, and housekeeping.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>\n<p>· Oversee general building maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, painting, roofing, minor repairs, and electrical work.</p>\n<p>· Ensure preventative maintenance is completed on all equipment.</p>\n<p>· Ensure the facility is in a sanitary, attractive, safe, orderly condition and in compliance with all regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.</p>\n<p>· Ensure the facility maintains compliance with all regulatory standards (i.e., NFPA, OSHA, etc.) and accreditation requirements (i.e., CMS, TJC, etc).</p>\n<p>· Provide staff management including hiring, development, training, performance management, and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.</p>\n<p>· Ensure proper operations and maintenance of water systems, emergency electrical systems, sewage systems, primary electrical systems, telephone systems, fire alarm systems, and heating and cooling systems.</p>\n<p>· Develop facility maintenance plans, timetables for completion ,and recommendations for maintenance projects.</p>\n<p>· Serve as project manager for small-scale, short-duration projects.</p>\n<p>· Respond to facility fire and disaster situations immediately and assist per emergency plans.</p>\n<p>· Coordinate outside service vendors/contractors and maintenance staff to complete projects as assigned/necessary.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>OTHER FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>\n<p>· Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<p>· High School Diploma required.</p>\n<p>Bachelor’s degree or higher level of education in Business or technical field preferred.</p>\n<p>· Five or more years’ of Healthcare experience involving construction/maintenance preferred.</p>\n<p>· Ten or more years’ construction/maintenance/Healthcare supervisory experience preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<p>· Valid state driver's license, where required in a facility.</p>\n<p>· CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).</p>\n<p>· First aid may be required based on state or facility.</p>\n<p>· Valid Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) will be preffered.</p>\n<p><strong>ADDITIONAL REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>While this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the requirements of the job, management reserves the right to add or remove duties from particular jobs when circumstances (e.g. emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs or technological developments) dictate.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are committed to providing equal  employment opportunities to all applicants for employment regardless of an individual’s characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and local laws.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-GBHC</p>\n<p>AHCORP</p>\n<p>#LI-SH1</p>",
