This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work, problem‑solving, and learning new skills in a fast‑growing industry. No prior fiber splicing experience required training is provided.</span></p><p><br></p><h2><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Assist with splicing, terminating, and testing fiber‑optic cables using fusion splicers, OTDRs, power meters, and related tools.</span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Support installation of aerial, underground, and inside‑plant fiber.</span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Help troubleshoot and repair fiber‑optic lines and network issues.</span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Prepare and organize splice trays, enclosures, patch panels, and cable management.</span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Follow engineering prints, splice plans, and network diagrams.</span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Document work performed, including test results, splice records, and site photos.</span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.</span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Participate in on‑call or after‑hours work as needed.</span></p></li></ul><p><br></p><h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">High school diploma or GED.</span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Strong interest in telecom, networking, or technical fieldwork.</span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Ability to work outdoors, in confined spaces, and at heights.</span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools.</span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.</span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Valid driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record.</span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Strong communication and teamwork skills.</span></p></li></ul><p><br></p><h2><strong>Preferred (Not Required)</strong></h2><ul><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Experience with low‑voltage, construction, utilities, or cable installation.</span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Familiarity with fiber tools such as fusion splicers, OTDRs, or fiber identifiers.</span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Coursework or exposure to networking or electronics.</span></p></li></ul></div></div>\n",
