The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance and drive business insights.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain <strong>financial models and forecasts</strong> to guide strategic planning and business decisions.</li><li>Create and track <strong>key performance indicators (KPIs)</strong> to assess company performance.</li><li>Assist in <strong>annual budget preparation</strong> and monitor adherence, identifying opportunities for cost optimization.</li><li>Conduct in-depth <strong>financial analysis, including variance analysis</strong>, to support executive decision-making.</li><li>Provide financial insights into <strong>operations and management</strong> for project tracking and performance evaluation.</li><li>Analyze <strong>market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitive landscapes</strong> to inform financial strategies.</li><li>Evaluate <strong>investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions</strong>, providing financial models and projections.</li><li>Identify <strong>financial risks</strong> and recommend risk mitigation strategies to ensure financial stability.</li><li>Prepare <strong>financial reports, dashboards, and presentations</strong> for senior leadership and board meetings.</li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making and best financial practices.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> 5+ years in a financial analyst role, preferably in banking, finance, or industry.</li><li><strong>Technical Skills:</strong> Advanced <strong>Excel &amp; PowerPoint</strong> proficiency, strong <strong>budgeting &amp; modeling</strong> experience.</li><li><strong>Systems Knowledge:</strong> Experience with <strong>ERP</strong> <strong>systems and BI tools</strong>.</li><li><strong>Soft Skills:</strong> Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to present complex financial data effectively.</li><li><strong>Leadership:</strong> Experience preparing <strong>board presentations</strong> and developing complex charts/graphs.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Experience (Nice-to-Have):&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Background in the <strong>construction industry</strong> or <strong>project-based finance</strong>, understanding the percentage <strong>of completion and WIP schedules</strong>.</li><li>Experience working with <strong>private equity-backed companies</strong>.</li></ul><p><strong>Reporting Structure:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Reports to: <strong>CFO</strong> (dotted line to <strong>Controller</strong>).</li></ul><p>This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence financial strategy and contribute to the success of a growing organization.
