This will include working on the Museum floor, in the box office and in the membership office.</p><p><strong>Position Type:</strong></p><p>This is a seasonal position expected to last from May through August, with some potential needs in September. The successful candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. The salary for this position is $16.00/hour.</p><p><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide customer service by assisting visitors throughout the Museum, box office, membership office and museum information desk</li><li>Greet and interact with members and visitors to enhance their experience in the Museum</li><li>Respond to in-person, phone, and email inquiries from visitors and members with accurate information about the Museum, exhibits, programs and services</li><li>Provide support and staffing for special events and facility rentals</li><li>Complete general clerical work including answering phones, opening mail, filing, etc.</li><li>All other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><strong>Education/Experience</strong></p><ul><li><u>Experience</u>: Museum or other non-profit experience preferred, but not required</li><li><u>Education</u>: High School Diploma Required</li><li><u>Abilities</u>: Ability to provide exceptional customer service; ability to follow written and verbal instructions; ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to use a computer and perform basic clerical tasks; ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays; genuine interest or enthusiasm for baseball</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Typical Physical Demands:&nbsp;</strong>The nature of this work involves constant movement including walking, bending, stretching, standing, carrying, pulling, pushing, lifting, and moving up to 50lbs with or without accommodations.</p><p><strong>Typical Equipment Used:&nbsp;</strong>Computer, printer, cash register</p><p><strong>Other Duties as Assigned:</strong> Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
