Collectively, our dedicated team members honor our over 100-year legacy by providing professional and compassionate care to the patients, families and communities we serve.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures for patients in an outpatient clinical setting.</li>\n <li><p>Support a multidisciplinary care team including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physical therapists by delivering high-quality images for timely diagnosis and treatment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Exercise sound judgment in selecting proper technical factors and patient positioning techniques specific to sports medicine and primary care needs.</p></li>\n <li><p>Provide patient instructions and education to ensure understanding and cooperation during exams.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure proper patient identification and accurately document relevant clinical history.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assess image quality and confirm all required anatomy and annotations are captured.</p></li>\n <li><p>Apply principles of radiation safety to minimize exposure risks for patients, self, and others.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain equipment and clinical spaces in a clean, organized, and functional manner.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assist with patient flow, including transport and scheduling support as needed.</p></li>\n <li><p>Collaborate with front-office and clinical staff to maintain an efficient, high-quality patient experience.</p></li>\n <li><p>Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, including radiation control standards and HIPAA.</p></li>\n <li><p>Support the training of new technologists or students when applicable.</p></li>\n <li><p>Participate in quality control and performance improvement initiatives.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for patients of all ages and activity levels.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licensure/Certification:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Valid Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure by the State of Florida</p></li>\n <li><p>American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification</p></li>\n <li><p>Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification</p></li>\n</ul>",
