About the Role: Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Inspections Coordinator Temp Role The Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Inspections Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of buildings by managing and overseeing the inspection schedules for fire alarm and sprinkler systems. This position is responsible for coordinating with inspection teams, clients, and regulatory bodies to guarantee that all fire safety equipment is inspected thoroughly and meets local, state, and national fire codes. The coordinator will maintain detailed records of inspections, follow up on any deficiencies, and facilitate timely repairs or maintenance to uphold safety standards. By effectively managing inspection workflows and communication, this role helps prevent fire hazards and supports the overall fire protection strategy of the organization. Ultimately, the coordinator ensures that all fire alarm and sprinkler systems are operational, compliant, and ready to protect lives and property in emergency situations. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in coordinating or scheduling inspections, preferably in fire safety or building maintenance. Basic understanding of fire alarm and sprinkler systems and relevant fire safety codes. Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree or higher in Fire Science, Facilities Management, or a related field. Certification in fire protection or safety (e.g., NICET certification). Experience working with fire safety regulatory agencies and understanding of NFPA standards. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Customer service experience in a technical or safety-related environment. Responsibilities: Schedule and coordinate fire alarm and sprinkler system inspections across multiple client sites to ensure timely compliance with regulatory requirements. Communicate with inspection technicians, clients, and regulatory agencies to confirm inspection appointments and resolve any scheduling conflicts.
