    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop automated test scripts using automated tools such as Karate, Rest Assured, Spring Cloud Contract, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress for Web and API applications.</li>\n <li>Show ownership on Quality in general and on deliverables like test cases, automation etc.</li>\n <li>Execution &amp; maintenance of automation suite, enhance regression suite in conjunction with the product evolution.</li>\n <li>Regularly evaluate the test automation suites and make decisions related to the application of test automation strategies for assigned projects.</li>\n <li>Comply with established version control practices and coding standards.</li>\n <li>With a strong quality mindset, gather and analyse business requirements; thereby build domain knowledge and help team by providing testing solutions.</li>\n <li>Conduct Functional, Regression and Sanity testing depending on the project demand and ensure complete testing coverage before production release.</li>\n <li>Report &amp; document defects using the project’s defect management tools.</li>\n <li>Inform the team on any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process.</li>\n <li>Validate fixes, help in identifying RCAs and take preventive measures.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience &amp; Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experienced in Setting up test automation frameworks and writing test scripts in API/UI applications.</li>\n <li>Minimum 4-9 years’ experience in Test Automation in any of the following tools/frameworks - Karate, Rest Assured, Postman (Newman), Spring Cloud Contract, Selenium, Cypress.</li>\n <li>Expertise in programming language like Java, Python.</li>\n <li>Experienced in gen AI tools for test case preparation, automation and other quality enhancement activities.</li>\n <li>Hands on knowledge in using mocked dependencies where appropriate for testing web services.</li>\n <li>Experience in Functional testing, Test case creation, Regression testing, API Testing, Nonfunctional testing.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail, demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and excellent analytical skills independent decision-making, interpersonal and people skills.</li>\n <li>Experienced in being part of teams following agile methodology, proficient in agile practices and ceremonies.</li>\n <li>Clear understanding on CICD, automated pipeline integration and hands on experience in setting up tests as part of CICD workflows.</li>\n</ul>",
