You're an xScioneer.</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">xScion is seeking an IV&amp;V Lead to work on an xScion project team with one of our clients. <span>The IV&amp;V Lead is responsible for planning and leading an Independent Verification &amp; Validation (IV&amp;V) engagement for a large‑scale modernization program. This role blends IV&amp;V leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement to independently assess system, operational, and organizational readiness for go‑live and to provide clear, actionable recommendations to senior leadership.</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">As an IV&amp;V Lead, You Will:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the end‑to‑end IV&amp;V engagement, including scope, schedule, risks, and stakeholder management</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain the IV&amp;V Management and Work Plan, including assessment methodology, detailed activities, roles and responsibilities, engagement cadence, and resource needs</li>\n<li>Oversee and coordinate IV&amp;V activities across the main readiness areas: System/Technology, Operations &amp; Production Readiness, and Go‑Live Readiness Criteria</li>\n<li>Plan and facilitate interviews, workshops, system demonstrations, and documentation reviews with client and vendor teams</li>\n<li>Review and challenge testing strategy, defect management, change and release management, performance/load testing, and infrastructure/network readiness</li>\n<li>Direct the evaluation of ITIL‑aligned processes (incident/problem/change management, DR/BCP, standard operating procedures) and service/support readiness</li>\n<li>Synthesize findings into interim status updates, executive dashboards, and periodic readiness assessments highlighting strengths, gaps, risks, and dependencies</li>\n<li>Own creation and delivery of the Final Readiness Assessment Report, including a clear go/no‑go recommendation and “Definition of Done” criteria for go‑live</li>\n<li>Ensure IV&amp;V independence and objectivity while maintaining a collaborative relationship with program stakeholders</li>\n<li>Mentor and guide IV&amp;V Analysts and SMEs, ensuring consistency and quality of assessment artifacts and recommendations.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">To Be Successful, You Need:</span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>US Citizenship Required</span></li>\n<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience  <br></li>\n<li>10+ years of experience in large‑scale technology implementation, with at least 5 years leading IV&amp;V, QA, or independent assurance efforts for complex programs</li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience managing multi‑stakeholder projects, including schedule, scope, risks, and communications to executive sponsors</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of SDLC practices (Agile/hybrid), test management, performance and load testing, and CI/CD and release management in complex environments</li>\n<li>Hands‑on experience assessing production readiness of enterprise platforms (availability, scalability, resilience, DR/BCP, monitoring and alerting)</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of ITIL and service management processes (incident, problem, change, release, configuration)</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to translate technical and operational findings into clear, business‑relevant insights and recommendations</li>\n<li>Experience preparing and delivering executive‑level briefings and dashboards for go‑live readiness and risk decisions</li>\n<li>Desired: experience with public sector or regulated industries;
