    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/[email protected]/css/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/[email protected]/css/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><p>A-C-T has an immediate opening for a <em>CDL Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator&nbsp;</em>in our corporate office located in Bartow, Florida.</p><p>This position is responsible for, but not limited to these key responsibilities and essential functions:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Responds to environmental emergencies when required at all times within a 24-hour period. &nbsp;</li><li>Performs technical field/office work, operates mechanical equipment such as Vac Trucks, Super Duster, forklifts, pallet jacks, lift gates, trucks, trailers and other mechanical equipment as needed.</li><li>Performs clean-up and decontamination procedures as needed. &nbsp;</li><li>Maintains inventory lists and completes various report and Field Dailies as required. &nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of the terminology, principles of spill responses.</li><li>Basic knowledge of proper storage, treatment and disposal of hazardous materials that are collected in the course of the clean-up.</li><li>Knowledge of the potential hazards associated with Hazardous Wastes.</li><li>Must be able to work well with the public, client and other employees.</li><li>Field phone calls and communicate well with Field Supervisors.</li><li>Ability to perform limited chemical tests and to work around a wide variety of chemicals.</li><li>Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.</li><li>Ability to learn and adhere to proper safety procedures.</li><li>Ability to work in all weather and environmental conditions (i.e. sun, rain, cold, swamp, ditches, dirt).</li><li>Must be able to lift and carry up to forty-five (50) pounds of bulky equipment.</li><li>Ability to bend, stoop, sit and stand.</li><li>Drum procession and sampling.</li><li>Tank cleaning.</li><li>Spill Crew Member.</li><li>General Construction.</li><li>Equipment decontamination.</li><li>Vehicle and equipment maintenance.</li><li>Use of all levels of PPE.</li><li>Equipment preparation.</li><li>Keep accurate field log book.</li><li>Manual labor, sweep, shovel, push and pull.</li><li>Team member for all types.</li><li>Upholds the ethics and values of the company.</li><li>Other duties as necessary.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Education and/or Experience</strong></p><ul><li>High School Graduate</li><li>One (1) years&rsquo; experience in environmental, construction, contracting type work, preferred.</li><li>CDL License-Class A or B with tanker &amp; hazmat endorsements, within 90 days.</li><li>Excavator, Skid-steer, Bulldozer, Forklift and other heavy equipment operation, preferred.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Additional Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training preferred, will be provided if needed.</li><li>Experience in serving public and private sector clients including: development of technical approach, budget and schedule, monitoring project performance, client and regulatory interface and delivery of technically superior work products</li><li>Ability to travel, including some overnight.</li><li>Must possess a valid Florida CDL driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>Air purifying respirator fit certification must be obtained and maintained no later than one (1) month after employment.</li><li>Pre-employment drug screen according to A-C-T&rsquo;s Drug Free Workplace policy.</li><li>Acceptable driving record in accordance with A-C-T&rsquo;s Insurance &amp; Driving policy.</li><li>Signing the Non-disclosure and Non-solicitation Agreement.</li><li>Annual medical monitoring is required in this position.</li><li>Satisfactory background check.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Other Skills and Abilities</strong></p><ul><li>Must have strong interpersonal skills to support leadership, management, negotiation and perform problem-solving functions in this role.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent judgment and discretion;
