    "description_html": "<p>Prodigy is a state appropriated prevention program that serves youth, adults and families throughout west central Florida. UACDC is recruiting Part-Time 1099 Contract Instructors skilled in the arts to teach novice and advanced students ages 5-17 in a group class format. Classes are 1-4 times a week. The position is also responsible for administrative tasks such as creating lesson plans, maintaining class attendance, collecting data as needed and maintaining a safe and positive classroom experience for participants. Other duties to be assigned, such as assisting with performances and exhibits at the annual Prodigy Showcase. Most class sessions are after school (3pm – 7pm) or during the summer time. <strong>Interested Applicants, please respond to: https://www.uacdc.org/prodigy-call-for-instructors/</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p>Skills:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Knowledge of art teaching to school-age children and diverse adult populations.&nbsp;</li><li>Skills in classroom communications and ability to communicate and relate to youth and diverse adults.</li><li>Knowledge of designated music / art specialty(s), with the ability to convey to youth and adults the history, concepts and techniques of the designated music and art specialty(s).&nbsp;</li><li>Skills in communication (written and verbal) with fellow employees, students, parents, program partners, researchers, and program administrators.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively in writing.</li><li>Ability to work with youth age 5 – 17 and adults.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work independently, plan and organize work assignments and meet established deadlines.</li><li>Ability to understand and apply program procedures, regulations, and rules.</li><li>Ability to interact with co-workers and students effectively in all types of situations.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p>This job has no supervisory responsibilities.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>",

This position requires a state FDLE Level II background screen, fingerprinting and drug screening.
