    "description": "<p>A Combo Welder will weld, fabricate and assist pipe fitters, boilermakers, millwrights, and ironworks in the installation of varying types of equipment and supports for industrial pipe, structural, and mechanical systems.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Responsibilities </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Selects equipment and plans layouts, assembly, and welding, applying knowledge of </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>         geometry, physical properties of metal machining, weld shrinkage and welding techniques.</span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Layout, position, aligns, cut, assemble, and fit metal components together in various </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>         body positions and in various places.</span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.</span><br></li>\n<li><br><span>Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>         arc gas welding equipment.</span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Weld metal materials to piping systems equipment using the appropriate welding</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>         procedure for the various equipment and metal types involved.</span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Identify all equipment for job and process.</span><br></li>\n<li><br><span>Identify all safety risks and requirements.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications  </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Must have 4+ years welding experience on industrial size and grade </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>         pipe. (Schedules: 40, 80, and 160)</span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Must pass company welding qualification tests.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Must be able to read blueprints and other engineering drawings to efficiently </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>         perform work.</span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Must be able to read and interrupt technical manuals as applicable.</span><br></li>\n<li><br><span>Must have knowledge of welding machine set up. </span></li>\n<li><br><span>Must have the ability to weld in 2g, 4g, and 6g positions.</span><br></li>\n<li><br><span>Must be able to Stick and Tig weld on pipe.</span><br></li>\n<li><br><span>Must be able to make weld repairs to pipe. </span><br></li>\n<li><br><span>Must have thorough knowledge of various metals characteristic and qualities </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>         including the correct welding processes required and the effects of welding on the material.</span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Must have experience welding multiple types of pipes including but not </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>         limited to: carbon steel, stainless, and chrome.</span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Must be able to assist pipe fitters in pipe installation, preparation, and fabrication </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>         while not actively welding.</span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Must have reliable transportation.</span><br></li>\n<li><br><span>Must be able to work at heights as required.</span><br></li>\n<li><br><span>Commitment to DCD values and safety rules and regulations.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Must meet all physical demands (see section below).</span><br></li>\n<li><br><span>Takes full ownership of responsibilities and executes independently with minimal</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>         supervision after initial scope and expectations are established</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualification Highlights </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Must have 4+ years welding experience.</span><br></li>\n<li><br><span>Must pass company welding qualification tests.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Must have the ability to weld in 2g, 4g, and 6g positions.</span><br></li>\n<li><br><span>Must be able to Stick and Tig weld on Pipe.</span><br></li>\n<li><br><span>Must have all required knowledge, skills, and abilities.</span><br></li>\n<li><br><span>Must be able to meet all physical requirements.</span><br></li>\n<li><br><span>Must have all required tools upon start date.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>         squatting, sitting, and lifting.  </span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Will talk and hear to communicate.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Must be capable of working outside in the elements including but not limited to the</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>         heat, cold, rain, snow and wind; and must be able to work for long periods of times up to 12 hours a day.  </span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>         controls, and tools.  </span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>May be required to lift, carry, and move up to 50lbs.  </span><br></li>\n<li><br><span>Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>         off platforms using the appropriate fall protection requirements. </span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not </span><span>limited to hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and leather work boots.</span></li>\n</ul>",
