    "description_html": "<p><br></p><p><strong>The Public Areas Attendant</strong> <strong>cleans and maintains all corridors, vending areas, elevators and landings and service areas on guest room floors, ensuring hotel's standards of cleanliness.</strong> <strong>They</strong> <strong>will provide linen supplies for Room Attendants and stock floor closets.</strong> <strong>They deliver and retrieve</strong> <strong>items requested by guests and Floor Supervisor.</strong>&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li><strong>Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.</strong>&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Thoroughly dust all furniture, pictures, and shelves, extending arms over head, bending and stooping as needed.</strong>&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces</strong>&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Sweep, mop and vacuum hotel</strong>&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Clean ashtrays and empty trash.</strong>&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.</strong>&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Deliver guest requests quickly and efficiently</strong>&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Assist the Front Desk with all guest requests including special requests</strong>&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.</strong>&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Maintains hotel grounds/curb appeal in accordance with hotel standards</strong>&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Maintains the parking lot/ramp including all pavement, lighting, stairs, elevators landings</strong>&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Assists the guestroom team-members as needed such as stocking room attendant carts, replenishing storage rooms with supplies, picking up trash from parking lot and grass areas</strong>&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Respond to guest requests such as delivering supplies and inquiries immediately.</strong>&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Possess a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.</strong>&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance</strong>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
