In this role, you will be responsible for guiding system architecture, requirements development, integration, and verification efforts to ensure mission success from concept through deployment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The Systems Lead serves as the connective tissue between engineering disciplines—mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing—ensuring that system-level decisions are technically sound, traceable, and executable. The ideal candidate brings strong systems thinking, disciplined engineering judgment, and the ability to lead teams through ambiguity with clarity and confidence.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead system architecture development, requirements definition, and technical trade studies for defense and aerospace systems.</li>\n<li>Serve as the technical authority ensuring alignment between customer requirements and engineering execution.</li>\n<li>Coordinate and guide cross-functional engineering teams to achieve cohesive, integrated system solutions.</li>\n<li>Manage system interfaces, requirements traceability, and configuration control across the product lifecycle.</li>\n<li>Oversee system integration, verification, and validation (IV&amp;V) activities.</li>\n<li>Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks at the system level.</li>\n<li>Support program execution by balancing technical performance, cost, and schedule constraints.</li>\n<li>Provide systems engineering expertise in proposal development, technical reviews, and customer engagements.</li>\n<li>Mentor engineers and help establish best practices for systems engineering rigor and discipline.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain at least <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Collateral Secret security clearance</span>.</li>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related field required; Master’s preferred).</li>\n<li>Minimum of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">8 years of experience</span> in systems engineering or technical leadership roles.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience leading system architecture, requirements development, and integration efforts.</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of the full system lifecycle—from concept and requirements through verification and sustainment.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with systems engineering tools and methodologies (requirements management, trade studies, interface control, risk management).</li>\n<li>Experience working across multidisciplinary engineering teams.</li>\n<li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief technical content to customers and leadership.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience supporting <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">DoD or aerospace programs</span>, including work with agencies such as DARPA, NASA, Army, Navy, Air Force, MDA, FFRDC's, UARC's, and National Labs.</li>\n<li>Experience with flight systems, hypersonics, avionics, or complex weapon or space systems.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) tools and approaches (e.g., SysML).</li>\n<li>Experience leading technical efforts on government proposals or capture teams.</li>\n<li>Prior experience serving as a technical lead, chief engineer, or systems integration lead.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Culture &amp; Values</span></span></p>\n<p>At Created Solutions, our motto—<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">“Consider it done.”</span>—defines how we approach challenges and commitments.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: inherit\">We believe all people are created equal for a purpose. </span><span style=\"font-weight: inherit\">We seek team members who:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: inherit\">Lead with integrity</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: inherit\">Honor God in all we do</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: inherit\">Strive for excellence for our families, customers, and communities</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About Created Solutions</span></span></p>\n<p>Founded in 2024 in Huntsville, AL, Created Solutions is a fast-growing small business providing advanced engineering solutions to the DoD and NASA.
