    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Chumash Learning Center offers a vibrant, welcoming place for Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians community members to gather for Homework Club and to encourage lifelong learning with Academic Tutor support. Students' drop-in to get assistance in various subjects to enhance their understanding and performance, in-person or remotely. Tutors encourage positive student behavior and participation during study and group activities.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Tutoring in a one-on-one or group setting while assisting with homework assignments, projects and test preparation.</li>\n <li>Monitor and track student(s) progress, by providing regular feedback to the Education</li>\n <li>Department, student(s), parent(s).</li>\n <li>Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.</li>\n <li>Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to establish and maintain a trusting and positive relationship with students and parents.</li>\n <li>Stay updated on curriculum changes</li>\n <li>CPR Training</li>\n <li>Follow confidentiality procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree or teaching credential issued</li>\n <li>Previous related experience working with children in a supervised setting.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and tact.</li>\n <li>Must be able to multi-task.</li>\n <li>Must agree to a Live Scan background check.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Location</h2>100 Via Juana Drive\n<h2>Minimum Pay Rate</h2>$50.00 per hour\n<h2>Maximum Pay Rate</h2>$60.00 per hour",
