    "description": "<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Purpose: </span></strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Licensed Mental Health Professional provides the leadership and strategic planning of the clinical services programs offered at the facility; ensuring programs meet the needs of the community and the facility’s performance goals and objectives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the overall administrative process and management systems for all clinical services offered at the facility, promotion and maintenance of a therapeutic environment, and development and implementation of clinical treatment programs.</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong><strong> </strong>Must be a graduate of an accredited institution with a Master’s Degree in mental health-related field and is licensed to practice in the state of Louisiana by the applicable professional board of examiners. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and/or (LPC) preferred.  Minimum of five (5) years direct clinical practice; three (3) years prior satisfactory supervisory and administrative experience is desirable but not required.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>General Responsibilities: <span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 13px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"> </span></strong> The Licensed Mental Health Professional is responsible for clinical services, including, but not limited to:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Conducts assessments and reassessments</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Counsels and communicates to patients/families/primary caregivers and community stakeholders on issues concerning the facilitation of the plan of treatment.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Develops and supervises staff that provide community-based services.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Develops discharge plan in conjunction with multidisciplinary clinical team, patient and family/caregiver.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Develops, prepares and maintains individualized patient care progress records with accuracy, timeliness and according to policies, submits accurate documentation within 24-48 hours.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Keeps abreast of social work and counseling trends and knowledge, obtains required annual continuing education in services.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Compile the collection of data for the initial assessment and reassessments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Conduct, face-to-face interview with the recipient and their family/significant others during an initial assessment and reassessments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Provide DSM-V (or its successor) diagnoses, Axis I-V/ICD-10 codes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Provide crisis intervention services as needed.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Notify the provider’s staff psychiatrist/medical psychologist of any significant change in a recipient’s physical or mental status.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Request prior Authorizations for Healthy Louisiana members.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Provide all core services except medication management, unless qualified.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Ensure all Clinical Assessments, Reassessments, (Individualized Service Recovery Plan0( ISRPs), Transition Plans and Discharge Summaries are signed by all participants in Lauris Online.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Other duties as assigned.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Must pass a State Background Check and Drug Screening.</span></p>",
