    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>EXPLEO USA is looking for an <strong>Exterior Accessories Design & Release Engineer </strong>to join a dynamic and expanding team in Troy, Michigan.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Create and manage Source Package documents.</p></li>\n <li><p>Support Mopar Purchasing to review suppliers’ technical submissions and select suppliers.</p></li>\n <li><p>Design and release new Accessories for Body and Exterior commodities.</p></li>\n <li><p>Support component supplier development activities as needed.</p></li>\n <li><p>Support component and vehicle prototype efforts to demonstrate early proof of concept.</p></li>\n <li><p>Host weekly engineering development meetings with the supplier and Mopar team members.</p></li>\n <li><p>Lead vehicle and system-level testing for assigned projects.</p></li>\n <li><p>Approve Engineering PPAP documents (Drawings, Dimensional, Validation).</p></li>\n <li><p>Track and manage projects for on-time launch.</p></li>\n <li><p>Lead change management of assigned components as needed.</p></li>\n <li><p>Manage root cause analysis of assigned quality issues, tracked through GIMs.</p></li>\n <li><p>Manage Cost Savings initiatives of assigned components (technical and commercial).</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills.</li>\n <li>Must have proven experience in designing exterior automotive accessories using metal materials, including metal structures, brackets, and exterior sheet-metal assemblies.
