The time has never been better to Embrace Your Great and work in an environment with the highest safety standards in the industry.   </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Position: The Quality Control / Assurance Intern will assist the Quality team in a variety of improvement analysis and implementation utilizing Quality systems and methodologies. Will support the Quality team in deployment and implementation, problem solving methodology and support change management in the cascading of continuous improvement through the facility.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>WHAT YOU’LL DO</u></strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supports the Quality Assurance & Control teams.</li>\n <li>Participates in a variety of assignments in functional areas.</li>\n <li>Performs specific assignments for higher-level staff.</li>\n <li>Participate within a multifunctional team on safety, productivity, and quality projects.</li>\n <li>3D Drafting in Catia V5 & Fusion 360</li>\n <li>Hands on experience using Zeiss 3D Scanning tools & Metrology Software (GomInspect Pro)</li>\n <li>Prototype tooling development & deployment incl. working with tool shops to turn your designs into parts</li>\n <li>Gain hands on experience in Quality Assurances processes including:\n  <ul>\n   <li>root cause analysis using typical Lean Six Sigma methodology</li>\n   <li>PFMEA/DFMEA/Control Plan review with suppliers</li>\n   <li>SPC, CAPA</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Gain hands on experience in Quality Control processes and implementation including:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Day to Day QC activities (Quality gates, measurements, data acquisition)</li>\n   <li>QC Gate setup & dynamic checklist management processes & tools</li>\n   <li>Assist in the design & implementation of data collection plans, including consideration of how the data will be collected, e.g. check sheets, data coding techniques and automated data collection</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Support Development & Launch of Plant Deviation process including IT implementation (PowerAutomate)</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>YOUR SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS)</u></strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Education: Pursuing or recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in related discipline (e.g., engineering, quality, management, or business).</li>\n <li>Skills: Good communication skills.</li>\n <li>Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products, including Excel.</li>\n <li>Excellent analytical skills: ability to collect and analyze data and present findings.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Travel: None</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:</u></strong> </p>\n<p>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Office and plant environment. </li>\n <li>Keyboarding, lifting, standing, bending, walking. </li>\n <li>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>ABOUT GREAT DANE</u></strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>With a history dating back to 1900, Great Dane has established itself as a transportation solutions leader of today – delivering innovative products and exceptional services that help our customers and employees succeed.
