          "text": "<p>&#xa0;</p><p>Hyera Inc is seeking a highly motivated, self-driven Process Operator for its activated carbon<br>\nproduction facility located in Willows, CA.<br>\nThe Process Operator is responsible for the operation of equipment in their assigned area of the<br>\nfacility, specifically within an activated carbon production plant utilizing carbonization and<br>\nactivation systems to turn agricultural waste (e.g. almond shells) into activated carbon. The<br>\noperator will monitor and control the production process, ensuring the quality and efficiency of<br>\nactivated carbon output. The operator will provide support to other team members, including Lab<br>\nStaff and Field Operators, to ensure operational, safety, and quality standards are met.</p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p>Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned at management&amp;#39;s discretion.<br>\n1. Operate and Monitor Systems:</p><ul><li>Operate and monitor carbonization and activation systems, including reactors, kilns, and gas handling equipment, to ensure optimal production of activated carbon.</li><li>Monitor and control the plant&amp;#39;s automated systems using computer-based controls.</li></ul><p>2. Adjust Process Parameters:</p><ul><li>Adjust process parameters (e.g., pressure, feed rate, temperature, gas flow) to maintain product quality and meet production targets.</li></ul><p>3. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):</p><ul><li>Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for carbonization, activation, and post-treatment processes to ensure consistency, safety, and quality standards are met.</li></ul><p>4. Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues:</p><ul><li>Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to the carbonization and activation processes, including equipment malfunctions or deviations from process parameters.</li><li>Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.</li></ul><p>5. Monitor and Maintain Equipment:</p><ul><li>Monitor and maintain equipment performance, including reactors, kilns, heat exchangers, and gas scrubbers, and coordinate minor repairs or preventative maintenance as needed.</li><li>Perform basic asset care duties, including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of the work area.</li></ul><p>6. Collaborate with QA Teams:</p><ul><li>Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to analyze product samples and adjust process parameters to meet quality specifications for activated carbon (e.g., surface area, pore size distribution, adsorption capacity).</li><li>&#xa0;Inspect product to ensure quality standards are met for activated carbon.</li></ul><p>7. Ensure Compliance:</p><ul><li>Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, including proper handling of carbonization gases, emissions control, and waste management.</li><li>Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment. Responsible for permitting onsite contract work.</li></ul><p>8. Provide Feedback and Reporting:</p><ul><li>Provide feedback on process improvements and report any safety, environmental, or operational concerns to supervisors.</li><li>Maintain accurate production records, including process data, equipment logs, and quality control reports.</li><li>&#xa0;Maintain accurate and timely logs.</li></ul><p>9. Physical Tasks and Work Environment:</p><ul><li>Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day in a relatively noisy, industrial, high-volume environment.</li><li>Follow procedures for plant start-up and shutdown.</li></ul><p>10. Team Collaboration and Support:</p><ul><li>Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.</li><li>Provide backup support to other roles as needed.</li></ul><p>11.
