Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Essential Duties:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Operate CNC router.</li><li>Machine parts to customer specifications from blue prints.</li><li>Design and manufacture fixturing.</li><li>Assist operators in setup, tooling, and troubleshooting.</li><li>Continually improve cycle times, processes, setup and tooling.</li><li>Provide input to estimators on machine run times, fixturing and tooling requirements.</li><li>Verify conformance to dimensions, alignments, and clearance of finished parts.</li></ul><p><strong>Secondary Duties:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>May develop programs for machines based on solid models and drawings using Master Cam.</li><li>Work closely with NPI teams to develop methods for manufacturing of designs.</li></ul><p><strong>Education/Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Vocational training in metal fabrication or machining &ndash; relevant work experience may substitute for vocational training.</li><li>Some experience in the operation of CNC routers equipment is a plus;</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency using calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers and height/depth gauges.</li><li>Thorough understanding of blue prints and geometric tolerances.</li><li>Functional understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.</li><li>Strong communications skills &ndash; both verbal and written.</li><li>Computer skills and knowledge of computer software used for Shop Floor Control/job tracking.</li><li>Must be a self-starter &amp; self-motivated.</li><li>Ability to identify complex problems and related information to develop and evaluate options, and implement solutions.</li><li>Must be able to handle multiple tasks.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Work Setting</strong></p><ul><li>A machining environment with frequent noise in an indoor seasonally air-conditioned and heated environment. &nbsp;Requires standing for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. &nbsp;Personal protective equipment (safety glasses, ear protection) where required. &nbsp; May operate moving equipment (forklift) as required to perform essential job functions. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>Affirmative Action/EEO Statement</u>:</strong> We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. &nbsp;All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
